The Peoplesâ Voices Challenge awards will be presented in New York at a global event during the UN General Assembly in September. In particular, the Volunteerism Award honours longstanding contributions to the achievement of the MDGs through volunteer action.
This is a great opportunity to feature the work of volunteers worldwide, which is often undervalued, and the unique way they contribute to development! We therefore strongly encourage you to identify and nominate outstanding volunteer initiatives or individual volunteers you have been working with and supporting over the recent years under the Volunteerism category.
