Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor on Contract basis for the Department of Gender Studies with consolidated remuneration of Rs.30,000/- per month

Women & Gender Studies -    Should be a  Post Graduate  in  Women / Gender Studies or allied subjects with Specialization in Women/Gender studies. Two years of teaching experience is desirable.

Candidates should have been qualified in NET in the relevant subjects.  Preference will be given to candidates having  M.Phil / Ph.D., degrees in the relevant field.

Terms and conditions

1. Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.30,000/-  will be paid and no other allowance will be payable to Assistant Professor on contract basis.
2. Candidates should have qualified NET in the relevant subjects whenever applicable.  Preference will given to candidates having M.Phil /Ph.D Degrees.
3. The qualifications shall be reckoned on the date for receipt of Application
4. Mere fulfilment of minimum qualification and experience requirements does not entitle any candidate for interview call.  Short-listing criteria may be set higher than the minimum advertised.
5. Incomplete application form or without supporting copies of certificates /documents will be summarily rejected
6. Canvassing in any form will lead to rejection of application form.
7. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates regarding conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview or selection
8. The Institute reserves the right of rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
9. Original documents/certificates will have to be produced at the time of interview for verification
10. The applicants are required to visit the Institute website regularly
11. Interested candidates may apply on prescribed application form, which may be downloaded from the website.
12. The list of shortlisted candidates shall be displayed on the Institute website.
13. The interview for the shortlisted candidates shall be tentatively in the last week of January 2016 .  However, the exact date will be displayed on the RGNIYD website, so please keep in touch with Institute’s website
14. Please note that no separate interview letter shall be issued.
15. Assistant Professors engaged on contract basis may leave the assignment any time during the period of contract, after giving a notice for one month.
16. RGNIYD resolves its right to terminate the contract of any contractual Assistant Professors without assigning any reasons.
