Ms. Swathisha, has completed her postgraduation from the Department of Psychology, University of Calicut and pursuing doctoral degree from Pondicherry University in Applied Psychology. Her doctoral research focus on mental health of commercial sex workers. She has cleared the UGC-NET JRF in 2016. She completed her under graduation from Prajyoti Niketan College, Pududkad, Kerala affiliated to University of Calicut. She worked as a research consultant in “Project Phoenix” co-ordinated by Department of Psychology, University of Kerala and funded by Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Kerala.

 

Ms. Swathisha, has published two papers in Scopus indexed International Peer-Reviewed journals and two book chapters in the edited books of international publishers. She also serves as a peer reviewer for the journals “BMC Public health” and “Archives of sexual behaviour”. She has also presented papers in National and International conferences and seminars.

 

Her areas of research interest are Social psychology, Political psychology, Human sexuality and Psychological statistics.
