Walk-In interview to recruit Programme Assistant for CRS(Ilanthalir Community Radio Station (107.2 MHz)) on contract

Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) proposes to engage Programme Assistant purely on temporary basis for Ilanthalir Community Radio Station (107.2MHz) at RGNIYD as detailed below:

No of position                                : One (1)

Essential Qualification                   : Graduate or 3 years Diploma in Mass Communication / Journalism / Electronic Media / Script writing / radio or television production.

Desirable: 

1. Knowledge in script writing & programme production
2. Basic knowledge in recording and editing

Period of engagement                    : Six months*

Stipend                                        : Rs.20,000/-pm

Upper Age Limit                               : 28 Yrs (may be relaxable)

*may be extendable depending upon the performance.

Nature of duties:

• Indoor and out door radio programmes planning and co-ordination
• Assisting in Programme production
• Preparing the related reports and documentation
• Assisting the Station In-charge

Candidates fulfilling the above mentioned qualification, etc may attend the walk-in-interview scheduled for Monday, the 28^th March 2016 at 9.30am at the Conference Hall, RGNIYD, Near Nemili Toll Gate on Chennai Bengalore Highway, Sriperumbudur – 602105 along with the filled in application form (click here to download) with photocopies of all certificate. 

Terms & Conditions:

1. Educational qualification should have been obtained from a recognised University / Institutions.
2. Reservation will be as per Govt. of India norms.
3. The date of for determining the qualification, experience and age shall be the date of walk-in-interview.
4. Final year / semester students who are expecting results are not eligible to be considered.
5. Engagement for the above positions is purely on temporary basis.
6. **Tenure mentioned in the pre-page may be extendable, however, subject to till such time the availability of requirement or at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
7. Candidates are requested not to send their applications in advance.
8. Original Certificates must be provided for verification at the time of walk-in-interview.
9. Candidates coming after 11.00am will not be permitted to attend.
10. No Travelling expenses will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
