Consultant:

Educational qualification :

Master Degree in Psychology/Commerce/Science/Computer Applications/ Computer Science / Engineering, followed by MBA with first division (60% of marks obtained from University / recognized Institution

Experience :

Should have worked as Principal/Director/Professor in a reputed Training Institution and experience in liaising with National level bodies such as NSIDC, NSDA etc. and creating partnerships between industry, skill providers and the University system.

  1. Maximum age limit:  62 Yrs.
  2. Compensation: Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.50,000/- No other allowances will be paid.
  3. Tenure of contract:  Initially for a period one year, extendable on year to year basis subject to satisfactory performance, or till the candidate attain 65 years age, whichever is earlier.

Entrepreneurship

  • Organising /Coordinating Skill development and vocational training
  • Setting up of a startup hub buzzing with various activities (incubator etc)
  • Capacity building leading to employment / self employment
  • Entrepreneurship development programs for Institute / college students
  • Organising workshops, events, surveys and field work for student entrepreneurs
  • Modular programs on specific areas like Digital marketing, finance management, soft skills etc
  • Empowering students to become entrepreneurs at the end of their studies
  • Women and dalit empowerment programs
  • Generating job and self employment opportunities for trained youth
  • Organise local fairs to show case, sell products and services of entrepreneurs

Employability

  • Workshops to improve the employability of students / youth
  • Counseling and advisory role on HR activities
  • Organising mock tests and interviews for final year students
  • Organising essential computer literacy programs with internal/ external resources

For Institute

  1. Liasioning with state and central Government organisations
  2. Creating partnerships with Colleges and universities
  3. Spearheading youth empowerment activities across the state
  4. Creating a national network of youth
  5. Positioning institute as a pioneer in the area of youth development 

Actual reimbursement of travel, lodging and out of pocket expenses for programs outside Chennai / Sriperumbudur.
