Centre for Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact Analysis
- The Centre for Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact Analysis functions as the nodal agency to monitor the implementation of youth policies and programmes of the Ministry of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Youth Affairs & Sports, Department of Youth Affairs of State Governments and other Ministries in which the youth groups are the direct beneficiaries.
- The Centre undertakes the tasks of summative and formative evaluations of the youth development programmes in order to ascertain their degree of utilization by the youth and the extent to which the benefits are reached to the young people. Developing projects, including tools and instruments for impact analysis to assess the value and relevance of existing programmes and schemes to the young people is one of the key functions of the Centre, besides monitoring and evaluating the implementation of National Youth Policy.
- This Centre also prepares projects for understanding institutional and organisational dimensions of youth development work and functioning of youth organisations.
