Centre for Coordination, Networking and Advocacy

The centre establishes active and highly functional networks of youth-related agencies in the country to facilitate collaboration at both micro as well as macro levels on a sustained basis. It works closely with Government at the Central, State and local levels on youth development activities to enhance the quality and relevance of service delivery and documents the outcomes by developing appropriate liaison mechanism.

The centre enables to bring all youth-related organisations in the mainstream of youth development activities in the country and promote their participation in the wider process of policy formulation and programme development.

It also seeks to mobilise the potential and resources of all youth-related government agencies, such as, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and National Service Scheme by facilitating effective cooperation and collaboration between them and helping them complement each other’s work and become partners in youth development. The centre also promotes youth volunteerism and fosters a sense of service in the young people through various initiatives.
