Dr. Parthasakha Das completed doctoral degree from IIEST, Shibpur, India in 2020. Title of his thesis is “Mathematical modelling on Tumor - immune system exploring heterogeneous dynamics”. Dr. Das completed Master's degree from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in 2011 and graduated from University of Calcutta, West Bengal in 2009.

 

Prior to pursuing Ph.D, Dr. Das was engaged at Narula Institute of Technology, Agarpara, Kolkata as visiting faculty from Jan, 2014 to Dec, 2015. He has qualified NET (Dec, 2015), GATE (2012, 2014). During his Ph.D,  Dr. Das was awarded several travel grants to present research paper in the international programs viz., CSIR in Oct 2019 for Russia (Not availed); ITS (DST) in Jun 2019 for Poland; Institutional grant(IIEST) in March 2019 for Turkey and also received visiting research grant from University of Exeter, UK in March, 2020(not availed).  Dr. Das is awardee of JSPS-2021 fellowship for Postdoc in Japan.

 

Dr. Das has published 15 papers in SCI-index journal. He holds a position of review editor in Frontiers in Computational Neurosciences and has review experience in more than 15 reputed international journals. Dr Das has membership with international research societies namely; European Mathematical Society(EMS), Society for Mathematical Biology (SMB) Models of Infectious Disease Agent Study(MIDAS) and Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics(SIAM).

 

Dr. Das has expertise in data-driven modelling of mathematical epidemiology and studies their qualitative dynamics, namely, stability, bifurcation, chaos, optimal control in delayed as well as non-delayed system under deterministic as well as stochastic framework. He is currently focusing on machine learning and deep learning in mathematical epidemiology and also evolutionary game.
