Dr C JAYKUMAR has a career with more than 23 years of experience in teaching and research.  After doing his Postgraduate in M.E in Computer Science and Engineering at College of engineering, Guindy, he pursued his Ph.D research in Computer Science and Engineering at Anna University, Chennai. He has Received Rs 24.4 Lakhs Grant from AICTE for many RPS Project and Staff Development Program. He has guided 15 Phd students under Anna University Chennai. He has published 100 research papers in International Journals, International and National conferences. He is guiding a number of research scholars in the areas of Ad hoc Network, Security in Sensor Networks, Mobile Database and Data Mining, Machine Learning under Anna University. He was the Advisor and Technical Committee Member for many international and national conferences. He had the honour of chairing innumerable sessions at various International Conferences, National level Conferences, Staff development Program and workshop spreading the beauty of computer science and education. He had the honour of working as a coordinator for National Board of Accreditation, Anna University Affiliation, Anna University Research Nodal Centre and TCS Accreditation at various colleges. He was a member of the Anna University Inspection Committee for Affiliated Colleges during the academic year 2008-09. He held the vital member in Governing Body in Sri Venkateswara College Of Engineering. He had the honour of being the Chairman for the Faculty of CS and IT Board in Sri Venkateswara College Of Engineering, Board of Studies member in Meenakshi University, Chennai, Technical Committee member in SRM University and SRM Arts and Science, Chennai. He has conducted various national conferences, Staff Development Program, Workshops, Seminars in association with industries like Infosys and TCS. Currently he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur
