Prof. Dr. M.M.Goel,Director, RGNIYD delivered motivational talk on 'RGNIYD for Empowerment of Youth in India' on the occasion of 22nd National Youth Festival 2018 at Greater Noida on 14/01/2018

Greater Noida (UP), January 14, - ‘Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD- an institution of national importance by Act of Parliament), Sriperumbudur   stands committed for empowerment of youth with dedication, devotion and determination to say no to discrimination, discontent and deprivation as mandated by National Youth Policy 2014 ,’ said Professor (Dr.) Madan Mohan Goel, Director RGNIYD, while addressing the youth participants of 22nd National Youth Festival   at Gautam Buddha University here today in his motivational talk on the topic ‘ RGNIYD for Empowerment of Youth in India’.

Spiritual awakening is necessary for empowerment of youth for which   Bhagvad Gita needs to be accepted as ism neutral religion free treatise on management and welfare economics, believes Director RGNIYD.

Full potential of youth calls for their empowerment as they are the active drivers of development, said Prof. Goel.

It is the need of the day to draw lessons from the wise words of wisdom (www) and work without worries (www) -the real world wide web of lifelong learning from Gandhian thoughts for peace through non-violence in economics called ‘Needonomics’ ( economics of needs), told Goel.

According to Professor Goel the essentials for youth empowerment in India are inherent in SMART (simple, moral, action oriented, responsive and transparent) model developed by him in the book “Economics of Human Resource Development   in India (2012).

The demoralized youth deserve to be motivated with enough employment scope for them outside India. To inspire them for entering the employment market, we have to identify their potential and train them in the skills of communication in English with spiritual input along with abilities of head and heart, skills and knowledge , justified Professor Goel who is an economist.
