A three day workshop for pilot testing the module for the Training of Trainers on ‘Promoting Indian Culture among Youth’ for the NSS Programme Officers

Chennai, Oct.12,2017-     A three day workshop for pilot testing the module for the Training of Trainers on ‘Promoting Indian Culture among Youth’ for the NSS Programme Officers organised by  Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD)      concluded here today at  the CP Ramaswami Aiyer Foundation here today.

 To inculcate social values among youth, we need to educate and train them in Indian culture flowing from our epics such as Bhagvad Gita which is ism neutral religion free treatise on relationship management and welfare economics, said Prof. M. M .Goel, Director, RGNIYD while delivering the valedictory address

The peace in every head and heart (consumer, producer, distributor and trader) is necessary and sufficient to say no to stress, tensions and fear caused by spiritual bankruptcy and commercialization, said Prof. Goel. Dr.Nandita Krishna Director of the foundation presided over the function.

We have to adopt non-violence in economics as spiritual economics to be exactly called ‘Needonomics’ (economics of needs)   and no to Greedonomics ( economics of greed)  causing violence, corruption ,terrorism and exploitation of all kinds, told Prof. Goel.

To move in the bright future of New India vision, we need to bridge the prevailing gap between the old and new values through the modules based on the Indian culture and the best practices around the world, said Prof. Goel.

 Earlier Prof. Vasanthi Rajenderan welcomed the guests and given report of the programme and Dr. Ambu Kavitha proposed the vote of thanks.
