Sriperumbudur, July 31, 2017 - The social initiative of RGNIYD was held on 30th July, 2017 at 3.00 p.m. in the Government Middle School, Kachipattu Village, Sriperumbudur.
To harness youth power for development activities and nation building the Dr. Ambedkar Youth Welfare Association was inaugurated on 30th JULY, 2017 by. Prof. (Dr.) Madan Mohan Goel, Director, RGNIYD, in the Kachipattu village Sriperumbudur which is an adopted village of RGNIYD. He inspired the youth with his exemplary speech. He made a case to change the name of the association from youth welfare to youth development to be called as Dr. Ambedkar Youth Development Association. He told that Dr. Ambedkar was a noted economist. More than a Dalit Masiya he was the author of the Constitution. He explains the canons of public expenditure given by Dr. Ambedkar as faithfulness, wisdom of the professionals and economy in execution.
Shri. K Palani, MLA, Sriperumbudur constituency was also present to grace the occasion. He delivered a speech to motivate the youth and conveyed his best wishes to the association.
