Legal Awareness Programmes for Girl Students, in 10 Colleges across Tamil Ndu

The RGNIYD in association with Tamil Nadu Women Lawyers Federation is conducting 10 legal awareness programmes across Tamil Nadu, to commemorate International Women's Day, 8th March, 2015. The theme of the programme is Social empowerment of women through legal awareness. The primary objective of the programme is to create awareness among girl students on legal rights and Constitutional entitlements. Experts from various disciplines like, law and sociology and women activists will impart knowledge to the participants. The workshop outcome is, after attending the workshop the students will gain knowledge on legal rights and Constitutional entitlements and become conscious of their role and functions in the society and will assert themselves legally and socially.
