          RGNIYD is a premier Institute engaged in capacity-building, research, action research, documentation and dissemination activities for the development of the youth of our country. It undertakes activities to promote social harmony and national unity, participation of youth in local governance and encourages youth exchange visits within the country and with other countries to facilitate sharing of knowledge, strategy and approach to youth issues.

       RGNIYD is situated in a spacious campus with modern facilities at Sriperumbudur, approximately 39 kilometers from Chennai Central (NH-4, Chennai-Bangalore Highway).

           Applications are invited for admission to the Master’s Degree programmes (2 year Regular) for the 2009 - 2011 Batch. These are pioneering Programmes promoting professionalism in youth work, offered by RGNIYD.

Eligibility

      A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with not less than 40% marks from a recognised University. Experience in the field of Youth Development (NSS / NYKS / NCC / Bharat Scouts & Guides / Youth Hostel Association / Youth Red Cross / NGOs) will be desirable qualification.
